Namrata Uberoi

Namrata Kaur Uberoi, PhD, MPH, is the Executive Director of Health Care Cost and Affordability at West Health, where she leads a diverse portfolio of policy and research initiatives focused on improving health care affordability. She oversees strategic alignment across programs to maximize impact and drives the development and execution of evidence-based strategies that inform policy, enhance access and quality, and advance system-wide affordability. Prior to joining West Health, Dr. Uberoi served as a Senior Manager and Health Economist at RTI International, where she led multidisciplinary teams and complex projects centered on payment model design and implementation. Her work included implementing value-based care programs and payment models for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and directing research initiatives for the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). She brings extensive experience across governmental, academic, policy, and research settings, including roles at the Congressional Research Service (CRS) on Capitol Hill, the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE), the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Namrata holds a PhD in Health Economics from The Pennsylvania State University and an MPH in Public Health Management and Policy from the University of Florida. In her free time, Namrata enjoys reading, discovering fantastic places to eat, and traveling the world.
