Kelly O’Brien

Kelly O’Brien is Executive Director of Brain Health at West Health, where she develops and leads the enterprise-wide strategy spanning policy and practice to improve brain health outcomes for older adults and the population at large. Her work focuses on prevention, early action, and systems-level change to improve access, reduce costs, and improve quality of life. Kelly brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across public health, policy, and social impact. Previously, Kelly served as Vice President of Prevention at UsAgainstAlzheimer’s, where she elevated dementia risk reduction as a national priority and launched major initiatives engaging employers, clinicians, and policymakers. Earlier in her career, she was the founding Executive Director of The Kennedy Forum, advancing mental health parity and access to care, and held senior leadership roles at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the American Public Health Association, and on Capitol Hill. Kelly holds a master’s degree in public administration and policy analysis from the George Washington University School of Business. She is also a certified health and wellbeing coach and personal trainer. An avid endurance athlete, Kelly has competed in hundreds of events around the world.
